Erik Olson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1999, they worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Manager, and Assistant Regional Sales Manager. Erik then moved to Cargill, where they worked as a Merchandiser for a year. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at CarVal Investors, first as a Senior Investment Coordinator and later as an Investment Analyst. During their time at CarVal Investors, they demonstrated strong financial analysis skills and improved reporting processes. From 2010 to 2014, Erik worked at Ameriprise Financial as a Digital Marketing Manager, overseeing various digital initiatives and managing cross-functional project teams. Erik then joined CIM Group in 2014 and held various leadership positions in digital marketing. During their tenure at CIM Group, they led a digital transformation, grew the digital team, and optimized multiple interactive channels. Currently, Erik is a board member of the Customer Experience Program Advisory Board at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Erik Olson holds an MBA degree in Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Prior to that, they obtained a BSBA degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained two additional certifications. In 2016, they completed the Advanced Social Media Strategy Certificate from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
