Uxía Veleiro is a Ph.D. candidate at Cima Universidad de Navarra, focusing on Applied Medicine and Biomedicine. Previously, Uxía completed a summer internship at MD.USE Innovative Solutions S.L., where code was written for the systematic analysis of peptide–membrane interactions of the SuPepMem Database. A notable experience includes a two-week lab visit to the Laboratory of Structural Neurobiology at KU Leuven, leading to knowledge gained in areas such as Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptors and X-ray Crystallography. Uxía's educational background includes a Master's degree in Quantitative Biotechnology from Universidad de Zaragoza, an ERASMUS scholarship at Heidelberg University in Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
