Alexander Ganyawu

Alexander Ganyawu has a diverse work experience in the field of risk and assurance, information systems, audit, and technology assurance & advisory. Alexander began their career as an ITA intern at KPMG in 2013 and later worked as a consultant in technology assurance & advisory at Deloitte Central Africa from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they joined Cimas as an internal IT auditor before transitioning to various roles within Cimas Medical Aid Society, including assistant manager for systems audit and cyber risk, information systems and audit manager, and currently serving as the head of risk and assurance.

Alexander Ganyawu holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies and Computing Science, which was obtained from the University of Zimbabwe between 2011 and 2015. The degree focused on Business Administration & Management, Corporate Finance, and Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)(P) from ISACA in June 2017 and Associate of (ISC)² from (ISC)² in October 2016.
