Tapuwa Prudence Mazanhi has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Tapuwa Prudence started their career as a SAICA trainee accountant at Moore Stephens BKV Inc. Chartered Accountants in South Africa from February 2009 to January 2012. Tapuwa Prudence then joined PwC, where they worked as a Senior Associate from October 2012 to August 2015 and later as an Audit Manager from September 2015 to July 2019. Tapuwa Prudence currently holds the position of Chief Finance Officer at Cimas Medical Aid Society since January 2021, and previously served as the Head of Risk and Assurance from August 2019 to December 2020.

Tapuwa Prudence Mazanhi completed their A level and O level education at Mabelreign Girls' High School from 1998 to 2003. Tapuwa Prudence then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at Rhodes University from 2005 to 2008, majoring in Accounting and Related Services. In 2009, they furthered their studies at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Accounting Science (Bcompt honors with CTA) with a focus on Accounting and Related Services.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Tapuwa continued their professional education. In 2012, they enrolled in the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) to undertake the Public Practice Examination (QE2) in Accounting and Related Services. The same year, they also pursued Part 1 of the Qualifying Examination in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Finance Auditing, and Taxation at The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Tapuwa Prudence Mazanhi acquired two additional certifications, becoming a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) [CA (Z)] through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) in August 2013 and a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) [CA (SA)] through SAICA CA(SA) in April 2013.
