Haniz Nazlan

Haniz Nazlan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Group Consumer Banking and Group Chief Strategy Officer at CIMB since April 2021. In addition to these roles, Haniz holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Controllers at CIMB Bank Vietnam and serves as a Non-Executive Director for Touch ‘n Go Digital, Financial Park (Labuan) Sdn. Bhd., PROTON COMMERCE SDN BHD, Principal Islamic Asset Management Sdn Bhd, and Principal Asset Management Berhad. Previously, Haniz was a Non-Executive Director at CGS-CIMB Securities and a Council Member at the Institutional Investors Council Malaysia. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc (Hons) in Actuarial Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science, participation in the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, and various certifications in financial analysis and investment from recognized institutions.
