Kenneth Chin

Kenneth Chin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance, currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Core Banking and Middleware Platforms at CIMB since September 2017. In this role, Kenneth leads the strategy and operations for CIMB Bank’s core banking systems, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with business goals while facilitating digital transformation and regulatory compliance. Kenneth also holds previous positions at CIMB, including Managing Director of Group Technology Governance and Managing Director of Governance & Spend Analytics. Prior to CIMB, Kenneth held leadership roles at Tricor Root Consulting and Roots Consulting Sdn Bhd, with early career experience as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young. Kenneth’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School and numerous certifications related to governance and information security.
