Jason Plummer

Mr. Plummer joined Cimbria Capital as a Partner and Senior Advisor with the purpose of further strengthening the firm’s expertise in the due diligence, acquisition, and expansion of agricultural and water companies. Mr. Plummer serves as Director on Cimbria Invest, LLC and on its Investment Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cimbria Capital partner company APX10 A/S.

Plummer serves as Vice President of R.P. Lumber Co., Inc., a family-owned building materials supplier and home center with over 70 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, and Wyoming. He also serves as Vice President of R.L.P. Development Company, Inc., a family owned real estate company involved in the development, ownership, and management of a large portfolio of residential, retail, office, light industrial, agricultural, and hospitality properties across ten states.

Plummer is also actively involved in managing outside investments and venture capital spanning multiple industries. Previously he served on the board of TheBANK of Edwardsville as well as the boards of several for-profit and non-profit business and civic organizations. Plummer currently represents over 200,000 constituents as State Senator of Illinois’ 54th State Senate District. In this role, Plummer has a strong focus on economic growth and rural development throughout Southern Illinois and the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Plummer served his nation as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserves.
