Sari Vesiluoma

Sari Vesiluoma has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sari has held various managerial positions in different companies and industries. Their most recent role was as the Head of Operations Information Security and IT at Cimcorp Group, where they worked on information security and IT topics for their products and projects. Sari also led the Project IT team, developing and implementing solutions. Prior to that, they worked at OpusCapita as a Process Improvement Manager and later as the Head of Disruptive Technologies. Sari has also worked at other companies such as Atke Oy, Kaffiino Oy, and Teleca AB, where they held positions like Director of Quality and Director of Business Support. Sari Vesiluoma has a strong background in continuous improvement, software development, project management, and information management.

Sari Vesiluoma's education history includes a Ph.D. in Software Systems from Tampere University of Technology (2001-2009), a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vaasa (2011-2013), a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from the University of Turku (1994-2001), and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Turku (1987-1993). In addition, they obtained a Teacher's pedagogical qualification in Pedagogy and educational sciences from Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK (2016-2017).

Their additional certifications include a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 (obtained in January 2024), various Coursera and edX certificates on topics like data science, deep learning, software architecture, and problem solving, as well as a Trainer certification from the Finnish Red Cross (obtained in January 2020).
