Veli - Matti Hakala

Veli-Matti Hakala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Veli-Matti most recently worked at Cimcorp Group, where they held several roles, including Vice President, Solutions & Technology and Director, Tire Industry Sales. In these positions, they were responsible for managing sales projects and ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions for customers. Previously, at Rolls-Royce, Hakala served as General Manager, EtO & Contract Management, Deck Machinery Merchant and Head of Deck Machinery Rauma, Merchant, among other roles. In these positions, they oversaw the building, maintenance, and development of global engineering and contract management resources and managed various responsibilities related to contracts, costs, and risks. Before that, Hakala worked at Etteplan Oyj as an Area Manager and Project Manager, handling customer sales, project management, and design engineering. Veli-Matti began their career at Finnrobotics Oy as a Project Engineer, leading automated robot cell projects. Hakala also has experience as a production worker at Hakras Oy, where they were involved in production, administration, and customer training.

Veli-Matti Hakala completed their Master of Science degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician at Tampere University of Technology from 1999 to 2006.
