Taha Aksoy graduated from METU Civil Engineering Department, Taha Aksoy completed her master's degree in the same department.
He worked as an Assistant at METU, a Research Assistant at Munich Technical University, and a Lecturer at Melik Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. Taha Aksoy, who served as an İzmir Deputy in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey between 2007 and 2011, speaks a very good level of English and a good level of German.

Cimentas Izmir Cimento Fabrikasi TAS is a Turkey-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of cement and clinker. The Company also produces ready mixed concrete for domestic and foreign markets. It is performing production activities in Izmir and Trace enterprises. Its affiliates include Cimbeton Hazir Beton, Sureko Atik Yonetimi Nakliye Lojistik, Destek Organizasyon Temizlik, Elazig Altinova Cimento, Bakircay Cimento, Yapitek Yapi Teknoloji, Ilion Cimento, Recydia and Cemit LLC. During the year 2009, the Company sold its complete stake in Alfacem SRL, and acquired a 70% stake in Serhat Atik AS, renamed as Sureko, which is engaged in the disposal of harmful waste. Cimentas Izmir Cimento Fabrikasi TAS is a subsidiary of Cementir Holding Group. In November 2013, it sold its 96.75% stake in Yapitek Yapi Teknolojisi Sanayi ve Ticaret AS to Inmobiliaria y Construcciones TORRESOL S.A.
