Dyutiman Choudhary

Dyutiman Choudhary is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agrifood systems, project management, and market development. Currently serving as the Senior Scientist Project Lead for the Nepal Seed & Fertilizer Project at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since November 2016, Dyutiman works on enhancing the inclusivity, efficiency, productivity, profitability, sustainability, and climate resilience of agrifood systems. Prior to this, Dyutiman held the position of Senior Scientist/Specialist at ICRISAT, focusing on technology uptake and inclusive market-oriented development in Eastern and Southern Africa. Experience also includes a role as High Value Products Specialist at ICIMOD, contributing to livelihood development projects and research on transboundary value chains, and earlier as a Marketing and Sales Officer at Continental Seeds and Chemicals Ltd. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Business Management and Forestry from H.N.B Garhwal University and an MBA in Agribusiness from Dr. Y.S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, complemented by a BSc in Forestry.
