Solomon Hailemelekot Sirak is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in digital systems and operations management. Currently serving as the Digital Systems and IT Operations Manager at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since September 2015, Solomon oversees IT operations across 15+ country offices and leads a global team of system developers. Previous roles include Senior System Development Expert at GIZ, where responsibilities included maintaining a Planning and Reporting Tool, and Project Manager at eahead computer services, focusing on project management and web server management. Additional experience includes system development consultancy at GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti and serving as an IT Expert for the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations. Solomon holds a degree from HiLCoE School of Computer Science and Technology, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
