Andrej Kincel

Andrej Kincel is a Principal Software Engineer at Cimpress, where since August 2017, responsibilities have included leading cross-functional software engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, and collaborating with product managers and UX researchers in fully-remote environments. Expertise spans the design and implementation of microservices using serverless architecture and optimization of RESTful APIs, alongside experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Zalando Payments SE & Co. KG, focusing on payment processing systems, and earlier positions as a Java Software Developer and Team Leader at Pantheon Technologies, as well as research roles at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Andrej Kincel holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems and Networking from the Slovak University of Technology.
