Umut Zenar

Umut Zenar is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the cement and construction industries. Currently serving as the CEO of ÇİMSA since August 2020, Umut Zenar previously held the CEO position at Akcansa from July 2018 to August 2020 and was the General Coordinator at OYAK Çimento Beton Kağıt Grubu from December 2016 to June 2018. Umut Zenar's career at Akcansa began in December 2004, progressing from roles such as General Manager and Vice General Manager - Sales and Marketing to various managerial positions in strategy and marketing. Earlier experience includes a role as Business Development Specialist at Zorlu Holding. Academically, Umut Zenar holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and an Executive MBA from Boğaziçi University, with studies spanning from September 1998 to January 2023 for the bachelor's degree and January 2009 to June 2010 for the MBA.
