Edmond Hooker

Edmond Hooker is an experienced emergency medicine physician currently serving at Mercy Health in Cincinnati with US Acute Care Solutions since February 2022 and as a staff physician at Concentra since September 2021. In addition to clinical roles, Edmond has an academic position as MHSA Associate Director for Accreditation and Professor at Xavier University, teaching epidemiology and clinical medicine since August 2003. Edmond has also served on the Board of Cincinnati Ballet since 2007 and was a School Board Member for Indian Hill Exempted Village School District from 2014 to 2021. Prior work includes faculty at UC Health - University Hospital, practice with Qualified Emergency Specialist, and Fredericksburg Emergency Physicians, alongside an academic appointment at the University of Louisville from 1991 to 1996. Educational qualifications include an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, a DrPH in Public Health from the University of Kentucky, and a residency in Emergency Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
