Tim Kellogg has a diverse work experience in the field of systems engineering and administration. Tim started their career as a Student Assistant at Berkeley Lab in 1999 and worked in various roles, including Computer Systems Engineer and Linux System Administrator. From 2012 to 2019, Tim served as a Senior System Administrator at Berkeley Lab, supporting scientists at the Advanced Light Source. In 2019, they joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Senior System Engineer and later became the Lead Systems Engineer in March 2022.
Tim Kellogg attended California State University - East Bay from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Tim later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as "Kraken Hunter" from Sysdig in March 2023 and "GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)" from Global Information Assurance Certification in March 2010.
