Our Mission: Empowering underserved communities by providing affordable, refurbished computers while promoting responsible e-waste practices through secure recycling.
Our Vision: We envision a community where technology creates opportunities, where digital access is a right for all income levels, and where businesses and residents embrace responsible reuse and recycling for electronic equipment across its full lifecycle.
Cincinnati Computer Reuse (CCR) is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps companies give their retired computers a meaningful second life.
Based in Cincinnati, we partner with corporate IT, facilities, sustainabilit teams to refurbish donated laptops and desktops and place them with local families, students, schools, and nonprofits who need affordable, reliable technology. Equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled under our long‑standing no‑landfill promise.

Since 2002, CCR has:
• Refurbished and re‑sold 15,553+ computers at low cost
• Kept 5,194,603+ pounds of computers out of landfills
• Engaged volunteers in 157,477+ hours of community service

For our corporate partners, we offer a simple, responsible pathway to:
• Meet ESG, CRA, and sustainability objectives
• Support digital equity, education, and workforce readiness in Greater Cincinnati
• Maximize the lifecycle and impact of your IT assets

We welcome equipment donations from businesses of all sizes. Our volunteers handle secure data‑wiping (or work with donors who prefer to remove drives themselves), testing, cleaning, refurbishing, and distribution. Every refurbished computer includes a genuine Microsoft Windows license, a 1‑year warranty, and 2 years of free service for the end user.

Let’s work together to keep your retired computers out of landfills and put them back to work in our community.
