Amy Vlastelica has extensive experience in the field of exhibition design and museum planning. Amy is currently the Director of Exhibition Design at the Cincinnati Museum Center since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Gyroscope Inc. as a Senior Designer from January 2020 to March 2023. Amy also served as the Director of Museum Planning and Exhibit Design at the Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum from May 2016 to November 2019. Amy has worked as an Exhibit Designer at Argyle Design, Inc. from October 2012 to April 2016, and at the American Museum of Natural History from May 2011 to October 2012. Amy also had experience as a Museum Assistantship at the Envision Peace Museum from October 2010 to May 2011, and as a Designer at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens from October 2009 to November 2010. Amy worked as a Design Consultant at Crossroads Foundation from March 2010 to June 2010. In addition, they have served as an Associate Teacher of Drama at the Hong Kong International School from August 2007 to July 2009, and as a Receptionist & Assistant Registrar at Richard L. Feigen & Co. Gallery from May 2006 to June 2007.
Amy Vlastelica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Theatre Arts, and Visual Arts from Boston University between 2002 and 2006. Amy later pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design at the University of the Arts from 2009 to 2011.
