Scott Gampfer

Associate Vice President For Collections And Preservation at CINCINNATI MUSEUM CENTER

Scott Gampfer has a solid work experience in the museum and historical society field. Scott began their career in 1981 as a Library Assistant and Preservation Microfilm Operations specialist at the Cincinnati Historical Society. Scott then moved on to become a Conservation Specialist, and later served as the Move Director for the society. In 1990, they joined the Cincinnati Museum Center as a Supervisor in the Conservation Department, and was later promoted to Preservation Supervisor. In 1999, Gampfer became the Director of History Collections and Preservation at the museum, and in 2011, they were appointed as the Director of Library and History Collections. Their most recent role at the Cincinnati Museum Center is Associate Vice President for Collections and Preservation, a position they have held since June 2017.

Scott Gampfer attended the University of Cincinnati. Scott also studied at the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies (twice), but no degree or field of study information is provided.
