Erin Curry has a diverse range of work experience. Erin began their career as a Veterinary Assistant at Terry Animal Hospital in 1997, where they performed various tasks including lab work, surgical assistance, and animal handling. In 2005, they worked as an Intern at the Audubon Nature Institute. From 2005 to 2010, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University. In 2011, Erin joined the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden as a Post-doctoral Fellow and later became a Reproductive Physiologist. Currently, they serve as the Director of the Bear Signature Conservation Project at the Cincinnati Zoo. Additionally, Erin worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2020, teaching a course on animal behavior and ecology.
Erin Curry has a strong educational background in the field of reproductive biology and molecular genetics. Erin earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Delaware, graduating in the year 2003. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Reproductive Biology from Clemson University between 2005 and 2007. Erin's academic journey continued at Clemson University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Reproductive Biology/Molecular Genetics from 2007 to 2010.
