Liz Clemons has a diverse work experience in the field of security and safety. Liz began their career as a Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in 2014, where they protected assigned client sites and performed static posts and walking patrols. Liz then worked at the Family Worship Center Campbell County as a Worship Leader, leading and recruiting musicians and singers for the church worship team.

In 2015, Liz joined the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden as a Security Supervisor/Emergency Dispatcher, where they utilized integrated guarding techniques and became qualified in multiple weapon types as a member of the zoo dangerous animal response team. Liz also developed training policies, procedures, and manuals for security officers, implemented a tier training/raise program, and managed hiring and scheduling.

From 2019 to 2021, Liz worked as a Safety Manager at the Newport Aquarium, coordinating and installing new communication technology and developing online safety training programs. Liz also took on the position of District Manager, managing a portfolio of accounts and successfully expanding the company's services.

Currently, Liz serves as the Associate Director of the Office of Public Safety at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, providing guidance and oversight for shift supervisors and officers, participating in personnel processes, and investigating incidents and accidents.
