Obatola Seward-Evans

Obatola Seward-Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. They began their career as a Student at Head-Royce School from 2009 to 2014. They then went on to work as an Intern at Long & Levit LLP in 2014, and later as a Data Engineering Intern at UnitedHealth Group in 2017.

In 2016, Obatola worked as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, where they taught subjects such as computer programming and game design to students aged 9-15. At Worcester Polytechnic Institute, they continued their education while working as a Student from 2014 to 2018.

Obatola then transitioned into software development roles, starting as a Software Development Contractor at Shape Security from January 2018 to March 2018. They later became a Software Engineer at Shape Security from March 2018 to January 2019. From January 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer II at Shape Security.

In 2020, Obatola joined F5 as a Software Engineer II, where they worked until May 2021. They then moved to DoorDash and worked as a Software Engineer from July 2021 to September 2022. At DoorDash, they took on various responsibilities, such as redesigning the internal code base to increase developer velocity and site speed, implementing E2E testing, and adding experimental features that contributed to a significant increase in annual revenue.

Currently, Obatola is working as a Software Engineer at Cinder, starting from May 2023.

Obatola Seward-Evans completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Obatola attended the university from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Head-Royce High School from 2010 to 2014, where they focused on Computer Science.
