Lauren McCarthy

Lauren McCarthy has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and creative industries. Lauren is currently a Senior Vice President of Marketing at Cineverse and Matchpoint. Their responsibilities include designing and executing go-to-market strategies, defining target customers and product positioning, crafting messaging, and advising on visual language. Lauren has also worked as a Product Marketing Consultant and Creative Strategy Consultant, where they contributed to rebranding initiatives and defining customer value propositions. Previously, they served as the Head of Marketing at Tangelo.ai and the Head of Product & Marketing at Contract High, focusing on empowering women entrepreneurs. Lauren has also worked as a Creative Strategy Consultant & Copywriter and held roles in the entertainment industry, including Vice President of Creative Affairs and Producer. Lauren has a strong educational background, having advised in an entrepreneurship course at Northwestern University and co-founded Studio|DAO.

Lauren McCarthy holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Yes And degree in Funniness at The Second City Conservatory from 2003 to 2005. Lauren also attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University Bloomington, completing it from 2000 to 2003.
