Currently serving as Technical Lead at Tata Trusts and Technical Advisor at Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives, focus areas include mentoring Participatory Action Research projects in tribal health and health systems advancements. Previous roles encompass positions as an External Consultant for the National Health Systems Resource Centre and Director of Medical Services for the Indian Army. An academic contributor, MP Cariappa has held professorships at Armed Forces Medical College and served as an Executive Editor for the Medical Journal Armed Forces India. Educational qualifications include an MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College, an MD in Preventive & Social Medicine, and fellowships in HIV from UCLA and Botswana Harvard University Partnership.
