Brendan Doran, PharmD

Brendan Doran, PharmD has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Brendan currently holds the position of Executive Director of Clinical Operations at CinRx Pharma since December 2021. In this role, they oversee all aspects of clinical operations for development programs under CinRx venture-backed and wholly owned subsidiary organizations. Brendan also leads the development and execution of late phase clinical programs to accelerate development and achieve marketing approval or a successful commercial exit.

Prior to their current position, Doran worked as a Senior Director of Clinical Operations at CinRx Pharma from May 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical operations for development programs and contributing to the development and maintenance of clinical regulatory documents and filings.

Before joining CinRx Pharma, Doran served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati in 2015.

From 2014 to 2019, Doran worked at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services. Brendan held multiple roles during their tenure, including Associate Director Of Operations, Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Assistant Director Of Operations, Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Manager, Research Pharmacy / Clinical Project Manager III, and Research Pharmacist / Clinical Project Manager III. In these roles, they provided operational leadership, personnel management, and collaborated with various teams on the development of regulatory submissions and documents. Brendan also oversaw the operations of the Investigational Drug Services pharmacy and managed specific teams for the coordination and management of clinical trials.

Doran's earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Pharmacist at BioRx in 2014 and as a Clinical Pharmacist-Hematology/Oncology and Pharmacist at Mercy Health from 2011 to 2014. In these roles, they performed clinical pharmacist duties, determined treatment regimens, and was involved in tumor boards and cancer care committees.

Doran began their career as a Clinical Research Associate and later as a Research Associate at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services from 2007 to 2008. In these roles, they conducted various activities related to clinical trial management and data integrity.

Brendan Doran, PharmD, holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Mercyhurst University. Brendan completed their high school education at Archbishop Moeller High School. In addition to their formal education, Brendan has obtained various certifications, including VC University ONLINE from VC University, Lean Six Sigma White Belt and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certifications from the Management and Strategy Institute, Drug Development from the University of California, San Diego on Coursera, Medication Therapy Management National Certificate Training Program from Power-Pak Continuing Education, and Anticoagulation Certification from the University of Southern Indiana. Brendan is also a licensed pharmacist, having obtained the license from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy and the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy in 2014 and 2011 respectively.
