Lisa Hernandez

Lisa Hernandez has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Lisa currently works at Cintel, Inc. as an Information System Security Officer and previously held the position of Cyber Security Analyst at the same company. Before joining Cintel, Inc., they worked at COLSA as a Cyber Security Test Engineer 4. Prior to that, they worked at TMC Design Corporation as an Information System Security Officer. Lisa also has experience working at the Missile Defense Agency, where they held the roles of Security Control Assessor and Cyber Security Analyst. Lisa has also worked as an Information System Security Officer at SAIC, Jacobs, and Alutiiq, LLC. Lisa began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Cryptologic Technician.

Lisa Hernandez earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Excelsior University, which they attended from 2005 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Walden University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. During their time at Walden University, Lisa obtained the Security + certification from CompTIA in May 2008 and later achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in July 2008. Lisa further expanded their expertise by completing a Level 2 program in the Cybersecurity Track at Defense Acquisition University from 2015 to 2017.
