Rebecca Santos

Rebecca Santos has over 20 years of experience in the IT and security industries. Rebecca began their career as a systems administrator at BASF Catalysts, LLC. in 1999. In 2008, they transitioned to Intuitive Research & Technology where they served as a senior systems analyst. There, Rebecca worked throughout the entire application development lifecycle over multiple projects. In 2016, Rebecca left Intuitive Research & Technology to join Brazen Security, LLC as their CSO and R&D program manager. Two years later, they joined Cintel, Inc. as their director of information security. Rebecca has experience in secure code analysis, vulnerability assessment, and vulnerability mitigation and has facilitated Cyber Community of Practice charged with workflow and capability development.

Rebecca Santos has a Master of Science in Computer Science - Information Assurance & Security from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Rebecca also has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same school. Rebecca is certified by (ISC)² as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Rebecca is also certified by Cisco as a Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA Cyber Ops) and by EC-Council as a CEH. Santos is also certified by the SANS Institute as a GICSP and by OMG as an OCSMP Model Builder.
