Itay Katz

Itay Katz has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and innovation. Itay is the Founder, Chief IP & Innovation Officer at Cipia, where they are responsible for the company's technology vision and R&D joint development projects. Itay also holds the roles of Founder & CTO and Founder & CEO at Cipia, where they have been involved in discussions with leading consumer electronics OEMs, technology providers, research labs, and start-ups. Prior to their time at Cipia, Itay worked as an Engineer in the DSP group at Motorola Semiconductors, where they were involved in video encoder and decoder implementation and optimization and served as an advisor to other departments in the field of system implementation on Motorola's DSP.

Itay Katz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Itay pursued this degree from 1993 to 1997.
