Sumithra Suresh

Sumithra Suresh currently serves as the Head Legal for Global M&A at Cipla since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sumithra worked at L&L Partners from August 2012 to October 2022, holding various positions including Partner, Managing Associate, Senior Associate, and Associate, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Anti-Corruption. Additional experience includes serving as Joint Leader of the All India Training Vertical at IDIA from July 2011 to October 2012, and completing internships at firms such as Trilegal, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, AZB & Partners, and the Competition Commission of India. Sumithra holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad, graduating in 2012, and has a background in studies from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai.
