Yolande Chirwa

Yolande Chirwa has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Yolande currently holds the position of Vice President: People| SA & Sub-Saharan Africa at Cipla South Africa. Prior to this, they worked at BetKing as the Director of People Operations from 2019 to 2021. Yolande has also served as the People Continuity Director (Africa) at Anheuser-Busch InBev from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they held various HR roles at SABMiller Africa, including Human Resources Director and Human Resources Consultant. Yolande also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at SABMiller and Southern Associated Maltsters and South African Breweries Hop Farms Divisions of SAB. Yolande began their career as a New Business Assistant at Stannic in 1994.

Yolande Chirwa's education history begins in 1987 when they completed their Matric at St Barnabas College. In 1989, they enrolled at Hamilton College and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, which they completed in 1993. In 1995, Yolande attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Relations in 1996. Following this, they attended Stellenbosch University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned an Honours degree in Business Administration. Lastly, Yolande pursued a Master's Degree in Organisational Development and Leadership at Fielding Graduate University from 2013 to 2016.
