MJ has been in the professional world for over a decade, starting with a role at IBM in 2007. At IBM, they held Sales Hunter, Farmer and Matrix Org Overlay Roles with the Software Group in USA, China, Thailand and Singapore. Mark then embarked on various successful sales-related roles at a variety of startups, such as Message Systems, Nexmo, Pantheon Inc., Smartrak and SalesManagerOne. Most recently, they held a role as Senior Account Executive at CIQ - Ctrl IQ, Inc. to help with their open source ethos and software infrastructure. Prior to this role, they took a break in 2022 to enjoy life and become a stay-at-home Dad, Middle School Home School Teacher, Devoted Husband and Gen Z Coach.
MJ holds a High School Diploma from Ravenna Senior High School and a BA in Political Science and Sociology from Hastings College. Mark also holds an Executive Program degree in Systems Management & MIS from the University of Southern California. Mark has a number of certifications, including Appian Partner Sales Certified (2022, Appian Corporation), Celonis Foundations (2022, Celonis), Enterprise Design Thinking Practioner (2019, IBM), and Digital Business Automation Sales Foundations (2019, IBM).
