Amelie D'Anfray

Amelie d'Anfray is an experienced agronomist specializing in agroecological systems design, currently working at CIRAD as an agronome focused on incorporating gender in the development of agroecological cultivation systems since June 2020. Prior roles include project leader for the TRANSFORM project and agricultural training projects at IECD-Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement, as well as operational manager and funding researcher at APDRA Pisciculture Paysanne. Amelie has also managed rural development projects at the Agence Française de Développement, where responsibilities included project management, market facilitation, and communication. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Agriculture from L'Institut Agro Montpellier and ongoing project management training at CEFEB. Notable research contributions include work on genetic diversity in yams and the impact of agricultural projects on climate change.
