Daniel CORNELIS

Daniel Cornelis is a senior ecologist with over 30 years of experience in tropical and subtropical ecosystems, currently serving as the Director of the Forests and Societies Research Unit at CIRAD. They hold a PhD in wildlife ecology and have extensive expertise in wildlife management and natural resources. Their past roles include project manager at BRL Ingénierie and coordinator at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, where they led various development projects across multiple countries. Daniel's research interests focus on movement ecology, human-wildlife coexistence, and the sustainable use of wildlife.
