Pablo Barcenas

Pablo Barcenas has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Pablo began their career at Hewlett Packard in 1988 as a Systems Engineer, specializing in networking and multi-user systems. Pablo then joined Decisiones Automatizadas as a Systems Engineer, where they focused on pre-sales and post-sales technical support for networking, communications, and UNIX. After that, they worked at Compaq Computer as a System Engineer, providing technical expertise in networking, electronic mail, and interoperability.

In 1993, Barcenas joined Microsoft, where they held multiple roles over the years. Pablo started as a Consultant, working on network and messaging solutions, and later became an Enterprise Strategy Product Manager. In this role, they supported Microsoft's enterprise strategy, specifically focusing on operating systems, management technologies, security, and Linux competition. Pablo acted as a liaison between enterprise executives and the product groups responsible for these technologies, played a key role in winning competitive engagements, and provided training to sales and technical representatives.

Moving forward, Barcenas worked at Sun Microsystems as an x64 Technical Specialist/Microsoft Solutions, managing the technical relationship between Sun, Microsoft, and Avanade's corporate organizations and sales force. Pablo then joined Advaiya as an Enterprise Solution Strategist and later became the Director of Core Infrastructure, overseeing the infrastructure and architecture of core systems.

In 2012, Barcenas joined CloudBlue as a Senior Sales Solutions Engineer, responsible for delivering solutions to clients. Pablo joined qUbit Corporation as an Advisory Board Member in 2014, providing guidance and expertise on various matters.

Currently, Barcenas is working at cirata as a Senior Solutions Architect. Pablo recently transitioned from the role of Principal Solutions Architect.

Pablo Barcenas holds a degree in Cybernetics and Computer Sciences Engineering from Universidad La Salle, A.C., which they obtained from 1986 to 1991. Pablo also has additional certifications in Foundations of Cybersecurity from Google, Mirantis Certified Administrator for OpenStack from Mirantis, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)². The CISSP certification was obtained in 2004.
