Paul Scott - Murphy

Paul Scott-Murphy has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Paul served as the Chief Technology Officer at Cirata, where they were responsible for technology and product incubation and delivery, strategic input from customers, and technical partnerships with major public cloud providers. Paul also held the role of VP of Product Management, Big Data/Cloud, where they conceived and prototyped the company's main product for large-scale data transfer. Prior to that, they were the VP Field Technical Services, Asia-Pacific and Japan, at WANdisco, overseeing all field technical activities in the region.

Before joining Cirata and WANdisco, Paul worked at TIBCO Software Inc. as a Regional Chief Technology Officer, leading technology innovation in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. Paul also held the position of Director, Solutions Consulting, where they supported the Australian sales team and managed the solutions consulting team.

Paul's earlier experience includes roles at IONA Technologies, where they served as a Principal Solutions Consultant, managing a pre-sales team and conducting individual pre-sales activities. Paul also worked as a Senior Sales Engineer, providing technical support to the Australian and New Zealand sales team. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated strong leadership and technical expertise, contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Paul Scott-Murphy completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from The University of Western Australia between 1991 and 1996.
