Shane Thompson

Shane Thompson has extensive experience in strategy, business development, and leadership within the environmental and recycling sectors. Currently serving as Strategy and Business Development lead at Cirba Solutions and President of Retriev Technologies Inc., Thompson previously held the role of President at Heritage Battery Recycling and Managing Director at Call2Recycle, Inc. Additionally, from 2013 to 2020, Thompson was President of Verdant Holdings Ltd, a consultancy focused on recycling, renewable resources, and material management. Earlier career highlights include positions as Vice President of Corporate Development at Battery Solutions, Partner at RediMet, and VP at Kinsbursky Brothers. Thompson has also served as Northeast Regional Recycling Manager for RBRC and worked in Environmental Services at Vale. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Colorado School of Mines.
