Signal Processing Research Engineer at Circadia Health

Piyush Sharma, PhD, has a diverse work experience in signal processing research and engineering. Starting in 2012, they completed a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, under the supervision of Prof. Vikram M. Gadre. In 2013, they pursued another summer internship at RWTH Aachen University, working under the guidance of Dr. Anupam Chattopadhyay. During this time, they were fully funded by a DAAD-WISE scholarship. In 2019, Piyush joined Acurable as a Signal Processing Engineer until August 2021. Currently, they are working as a Signal Processing Research Engineer at Circadia Health.

Piyush Sharma, PhD, has an extensive education history. Piyush obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Low Power Wearable Electronics from Imperial College London, attending from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design at Imperial College London, completing it from 2014 to 2015. Piyush began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, attending from 2010 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Piyush holds a machine learning certificate from Coursera, achieved in February 2018. Piyush also obtained the title of "DAAD Young Ambassador" from the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service in August 2013. Furthermore, Piyush served as the General Secretary of the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna in July 2012.

For their secondary education, Piyush completed their Class 12 studies at Subodh Public School in Jaipur from 2008 to 2009, focusing on subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Computer Science. Earlier, they completed their Class 10 studies at the same school from 2006 to 2007, with an emphasis on Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, English, and Hindi.
