Elias Gyftodimos

Elias Gyftodimos has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elias began their career in 1997 as a Research Associate at the University of Athens. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a Marie Curie visiting Doctoral Fellow at Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany. Following that, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen from 2005 to 2007. In 2009, Elias joined TREDIT S.A. as a Research Consultant and Software Engineer until 2011.

Elias then worked at Intrasoft International as a Senior Software Engineer from 2011 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, Elias held various roles at IRI, starting as a Senior Consultant and progressing to Manager, Senior Manager, and finally Director in Statistical Software Development. In 2023, they joined Circana as Director and Statistical Software Development Lead.

Throughout their career, Elias has gained significant expertise in statistical software development and team leadership.

Elias Gyftodimos completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens from 1994 to 2000. Elias then pursued their PhD in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bristol from 2000 to 2005.
