Conor McAleavey has extensive experience in the business and technology sector. Conor began their career in 2005 as a Business Analyst at Mercer. Conor then moved to Capita in 2006, where they again held the role of Business Analyst. In 2008, they took on a similar role at AIG. In 2009, they worked as a Business Analyst at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and also co-founded Text Republic. In 2010, they co-founded ZinMobi, and also worked as a Business Analyst at Capita Life & Pensions Services Ireland. In 2015, they became Head of Innovation at Leveris. From 2017 to 2021, they served as FinTech Advisor at TechIreland.org, and they currently hold the role of Chief Partnerships Officer at Circit.
Conor McAleavey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Galway between 1994 and 1998. Conor then went on to receive a Masters in Engineering Computation and Software Applications from Technological University Dublin in 2000. In 2015, Conor obtained the PIB certification from The Institute of Banking in May, and the APA certification from The Institute of Banking in January 2016. Conor also participated in the Enterprise Ireland Internet Growth Acceleration Program in 2013.
