David Forrest has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. David started their career in 2004 as a Systems Administration and Data Handler at National Grid Transco during their High School work experience. David then worked as a Senior Barman, Supervising Waiter, and Logistics Coordinator at Saltire Hospitality for two years. After that, David joined Kraya Limited, where they worked as a Web Developer and later as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer.

In 2010, David joined The Scottish Government as a Case Handler at Disclosure Scotland for a short period. David then worked at Nationwide Building Society as a Customer Service Advisor, specializing in Mortgage Underwriting and Completions.

In 2012, David started working at BMI Healthcare, initially as a 2nd Line IT Analyst, handling IT Service Desk escalations and user administration. David then progressed to become an IT Desktop Engineer and subsequently a Senior Desktop Engineer, responsible for managing the entire Desktop, Laptop, and Mobile estate within the organization.

David's most recent position is at Circle Health Group, where they work as an IT Technical Lead, focusing on End User Computing.

David Forrest attended The Royal High School from 2000 to 2006. David then went on to study Software Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Glasgow, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. David completed their studies at the University of Glasgow in 2010. In 2012, David obtained their ITIL Foundation certification from APMG-International.
