Brett Stewart

Brett Stewart is an experienced M&A and ventures professional specializing in fintech and payments, currently serving as a Senior Director on Circle's corporate development and ventures team. Brett previously held a similar role at Visa and managed relationships with large cap financial institutions at Plaid. Prior experience includes leading the US Fintech Banking team at Standard Chartered, supporting the expansion of US fintechs into international markets, and investing late-stage growth equity in emerging markets. Brett began their M&A career at Goldman Sachs and Moelis, working on significant transactions in the US and Europe. Currently, Brett is pursuing an MBA at Columbia Business School while also completing a BBA at The University of Georgia.
