Brian Krantz serves as the Chief Counsel for Data Privacy and Security at Circle since March 2023, following a tenure at LPL Financial where the role included Vice President of Privacy and Associate Counsel focused on privacy-related matters. Prior experience includes significant roles at CNA Insurance managing cyber claims, legal malpractice, and reinsurance claims, alongside founding the law firm Benes, Staudacher & Krantz. Brian's legal career began with clerkships at Kirkland & Ellis and Karbal Cohen Economou Silk & Dunne, followed by a solid educational foundation with a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University. The expertise encompasses privacy issues, incident response coordination, and regulatory compliance in various sectors, particularly in data governance and security.
