Tanu Thakur

Tanu Thakur currently serves as Head of Legal for the APAC region at Circle, beginning in March 2024. Prior to this role, Tanu held various leadership positions at Coinbase from December 2021 to January 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the global Product Legal team and supporting legal matters for APAC products. Tanu's experience at Google spanned over eight years, during which time Tanu was the Senior Regional Counsel for Southeast Asia, managing legal operations across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and providing product advisory for Ads and Payment products. Additional legal expertise includes roles at LOD, Citibank, and ICICI Bank, contributing to significant legal and compliance efforts in multiple capacities since 2005.
