Trevor Baker

VP, Technical Operations at Circle

Trevor Baker is the current VP of Technical Operations at Circle. Prior to this, they were an engineering manager at Adobe Systems from January 2004 to October 2013. In this role, they were responsible for hiring, mentoring, scheduling, and performance evaluation of quality, automation, and release engineering staff. Trevor also did budget forecasting for headcount and capital expenditures.

Baker lead teams working on numerous projects including web language exploration and recommendation to the Web Platform group, thumb2 port for a well known javascript virtual machine, test and framework development for ECMA TC39's Test262 (ECMAScript, JavaScript), and extensions and enhancements to open source javascript code editor Brackets.

Before their time at Adobe Systems, Baker was the Quality Engineering Lead at Allaire Corporation from January 2001 to December 2004. And before that, they were VP of Engineering at EvolutionB from January 1997 to January 2001.

They are on a team with Sumeet Ahuja - VP, Product Operations, Jeremy Clover - VP, Engineering, and Yongsheng Wu - VP, Engineering, Infra & Platform. Trevor Baker reports to Li Fan, CTO.
