James Crowley

James Crowley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. James is currently a Senior Solutions Engineer at CircleCI since August 2022, and was previously a Solutions Engineer at the same company from August 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, James worked as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science & Information Technology at Marist College starting in August 2019.

Before joining Marist College, James gained experience at IBM as a Staff Solution Test Engineer from June 2020 to July 2021, and as a Solution Test Engineer from June 2018 to June 2020. James also worked as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Marist College from September 2017 to May 2018, and as a DevOps Engineer at USAA from May 2017 to August 2017.

James started their career at IBM as a System Administrator from October 2015 to May 2017, and briefly worked as a Technology Analyst at J.P. Morgan from June 2016 to August 2016. Prior to that, they were a Telecommunications Technician at Marist College from September 2014 to November 2015.

James gained early experience as an Assistant Counselor at Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA in June 2013.

James Crowley completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology and Systems at Marist College from 2014 to 2018. James also completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Technology at Marist College from 2017 to 2018. In addition, James obtained the ONF Certified SDN Associate certification from the Open Networking Foundation in October 2016.
