Nicholas See

Nicholas See has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Nicholas started their career as an intern in talent acquisition at Robert Walters in 2013. Nicholas then interned as a regional organizational development intern at Nielsen in 2015.

In 2016, Nicholas joined Enterprise Singapore as a Senior Business Development Partner, where they managed high-growth food companies, facilitated overseas business deals, and spearheaded cross-functional partnerships. Nicholas later took on the role of Business Partner in Human Resources & Organization Development, where they managed over 120 employees and led discussions on talent management, recruitment, and diversity. Nicholas also piloted a digital recruitment strategy.

Nicholas joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021 as a Program Manager, specializing in cloud cost optimization. Their responsibilities included identifying cost-saving opportunities for key public sector accounts, driving product adoption and customer success, and strengthening cloud account architecture.

Currently, Nicholas is working at Circles.Life as the Cloud FinOps Lead. In this role, they founded the Cloud FinOps function, developed a strategy to forecast and manage a multi-million dollar cloud budget, and designed a tagging taxonomy for cloud resources. Nicholas also created comprehensive cloud cost dashboards to monitor budget health.

Overall, Nicholas has demonstrated expertise in cloud cost optimization, business development, and HR and organization development.

Nicholas See's education history includes completing a course in Negotiation Mastery at Harvard Business School Online in 2021. Nicholas obtained a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Psychology and Strategic Management from Singapore Management University between 2012 and 2016. In 2015, they participated in a Student Exchange program at the University of Manitoba, focusing on the same fields of study. Nicholas also possesses a Diploma in Marketing, which they earned from Temasek Polytechnic from 2007 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner certification from The Linux Foundation in 2023 and is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
