Chris Sahlman has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Chris currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager of Pumps Americas at CIRCOR International, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President and General Manager of Crane Instrumentation & Sampling at Crane Co., and as the Vice President and General Manager of CIRCOR Instrumentation at CIRCOR International, Inc.
Before joining CIRCOR International, Inc., Chris held multiple positions at Flowserve Corporation, including Director of Integrated Manufacturing and Director of General Manager. Chris also served as the Supply Chain Manager, where they led the restructuring of the agricultural and industrial pump business, driving improvement in working capital, on-time performance, and material cost savings through strategic sourcing.
Chris started their career at Masco Corporation as the Director of Supply Chain for the American Metal Products Division, and prior to that, they worked as the Logistics Manager for OEM Accounts at Cummins Inc., where they led logistical service initiatives for various OEM accounts.
Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in general management, supply chain management, logistical services, and business development in the manufacturing industry.
Chris Sahlman holds an MBA in Operations Management from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management. Chris also earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Integrated Resource Manager from APICS in April 1996, Certified Purchasing Manager from the Institute of Supply Management in September 2009, and CPIM from APICS in June 1993.
