Laurie Stewart has extensive experience in environmental, health, and safety management. Laurie has held various roles in different organizations, including CIRCOR International, Inc., where they oversaw EHS and risk management functions for multiple facilities worldwide. Laurie also worked as a consultant, leading the redesign of a medical monitoring application. Laurie has also taught environmental legislation as an adjunct professor at Westfield State University. Additionally, they have experience in EHS management in manufacturing plants, such as Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and Solenis. Laurie has also served as the Director of Emergency Management for the Town of Monson. Earlier in their career, Laurie worked as an EHS Specialist at Barrday Inc. and as an Associate at Morrison Mahoney LLP, where they handled civil litigation cases. Laurie began their career as a Law Clerk at Northeast Housing Court and also worked as a Legislative Director for Representative Gale Candaras in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Laurie Stewart holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Western New England University, with a specialization in Law. Laurie also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from Springfield College, as well as an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Environmental Science from Holyoke Community College. Laurie completed their high school education at Cathedral High School, obtaining a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies. Additionally, they earned certifications in TURA- General Planner from the DEP - Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Laurie also completed ALI-ABA and B.S in Environmental Law CLE and Environmental Science respectively from Washington D.C.
