Lacresha Buchanan

LaCresha Buchanan serves as the Human Resources Director for the Circuit Court for Prince George's County since August 2021. In this role, LaCresha provides guidance on Human Resources laws and oversees a team of HR analysts and assistants. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, managing personnel records, and addressing classification and compensation inquiries. LaCresha leads investigations and mediates conflicts, while also serving as the EEO and Ethics Officer. Additionally, LaCresha develops training programs, monitors performance appraisal processes, and recommends policy changes to align with the Circuit Court's objectives. LaCresha holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
