Anna Tari has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainable development and circular economy. Anna currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, focusing on the Master in Sustainable Development and Global Governance program. Additionally, they serve as the President of the Circular Economy Institute, leading efforts to promote best practices in the circular economy and discouraging the mere renaming of procedures.
Anna is also involved with various organizations in the circular economy sector. Anna is an Advisory Group Member of The Circulars, a program aimed at fostering circular innovation and facilitating mentorship for innovators and entrepreneurs. Furthermore, they hold the position of President in the Circular Economy Club, the world's largest network of circular economy professionals and organizations.
In their earlier work experiences, Anna worked as a Government and Industry Affairs Coordinator at the World Travel & Tourism Council and as a Publications and Communications Programme member at the World Tourism Organization. Anna also served as a Project Coordinator at the Instituto de Economía Internacional, Universidad de Alicante and as an Innovation & Research Project Manager at MTA Connect.

Anna Tari has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Universitat d'Alacant and obtained a degree in Business Management. In 2012, they briefly studied Business Management with a focus on web development and design at the University of Westminster. Later in 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Economics at Universitat d'Alacant. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Porto Business School and earned a Master's degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Presently, Anna is enrolled in Boston University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Consumer Behavior and Sustainability, with a specific focus on consumer behavior in a circular economy. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.
